It’s money you borrow at a fixed interest rate and repay over a set period of time. There’s no collateral needed to apply. Your monthly payment amount never changes and can be automated, so you know exactly what to expect.

Once the money is deposited into your account, you can use it for almost anything you like^{11 view footnote 1}, including: debt consolidation⁵, trips or vacations, home improvements, and medical bills. 

There is no Annual Fee. There also is no application fee or prepayment fee, if you pay off your loan early.  

Existing Asuka Credit Union customers  - if approved and once you sign the promissory note, you may receive your funds instantly. Your money can be transferred into your Japan deposit Asuka Credit Union account. If you don’t have an Asuka Credit Union deposit account and you apply online, your funds may be deposited into a non-Asuka Credit Union account within three business days. If you apply in your local branch you will be issued an official check for the loan amount.

New to Asuka Credit Union customers -  if approved and once you sign the promissory note (by 5pm EST on a business day), you may receive your funds the following business day. Your money can be transferred into any Japan financial institution of your choice.

Your first payment will be due approximately two months after account opening. During this period, your Asuka Credit Union Personal Loan will accrue simple interest on a daily basis.
